God's Intelligence - Controlling All The Universes
The Supreme Personality of Godhead is recognized in the Vedic literature as abhijña—the supremely intelligent and experienced person. All creation, maintenance, and destruction of the cosmic manifestation are executed through this flawless and expert intelligence. Śrīla Prabhupāda clarifies that the Lord is the chief intelligent person and the ultimate creator, and our human intelligence is merely a subordinate reflection of His mind and power.
Controller of the Cosmos
The vast and complex machinery of the material creation, encompassing innumerable stars, planets, and universes, is ultimately controlled by the intelligence of the Personality of Godhead. He maintains complete detachment while simultaneously overseeing every detail, ensuring that every living entity is given a chance to fulfill their desires and receive the corresponding results (karma).
- All the universes with innumerable stars and planets are controlled by the intelligence of the Personality of Godhead.
- By His (God's) superior intelligence, the Lord gives everyone the chance to fulfill his desires to the fullest extent, and the resultant reaction is also awarded by the Lord.
His intelligence is the supreme cause of material creation, and His mind is compared to the moon, the reservoir of all changes.
Intelligence That Cannot Be Equaled
God's intelligence possesses six full opulences and is beyond comparison, remaining unbroken under any circumstance. Śrīla Prabhupāda uses the practical example of man-made machines to prove the unparalleled nature of God's intelligence: a man cannot create a machine that is capable of producing other machines without requiring the man's individual attention.
- If a man could manufacture such a set of machines that could produce other machines without his attention, then he could approach the intelligence of God. But that is not possible, for each machine has to be handled individually.
- He (the Supreme) has all the six opulences in full and beyond comparison, He is the master of material nature, His intelligence is not broken under any circumstances, and He stands aloof, although He is the maintainer of the whole creation.
Nondevotees (mūḍhas) appreciate the wonderful creation but fail to appreciate the intelligence and energy of the Supreme Personality of Godhead who stands behind it.
Conclusion
The Supreme Being is the ultimate source of all knowledge and intelligence (parameśvara). By accepting this superior intelligence, as done by Śrīla Vyāsadeva, one recognizes that all the wonderful manifestations of beauty, order, and control in the creation are due to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, the Lord of intelligence.
